Open source implementation of BIG BANG, a hydrological water balance model developed by ISPRA, running at a monthly time step and covering whole Italy with a regular grid of 1 km x 1 km.

SoftWater is porting to Python this operational model, implementing a client-server infrastructure and improving the generation and management of distributed time series hydrological variables.
